Also during the free for all last Frday night Jimmy Jacobs suffered a stinger after being piledriven on the floor by Irish Airborne and the House of Truth. Rumor has it Jacobs could miss some ring time and AAW is working out several scenarios for the Tag Team Title situation as Jacobs and Tyler Black are still the reigning champs. Stay tuned for more on this issue.

Tickets for “EVOLVE 4: Danielson vs. TBA” on July 23rd at the intimate Ace Arena in Union City, NJ are now on sale in the EVOLVEwrestling.com Shop or by calling 267-519-9744. Bryan Danielson came up with the name EVOLVE before he signed with WWE. On July 23rd, he will finally wrestled in the promotion he helped developed.

This is a small venue with every seat close to the ring. We are offering a very limited amount of reserved 1st row tickets for $40. General admission tickets, which are no worse than 3rd row, are just $25. We urge you to act fast because we do expect this event to sellout. The building is located close to the Lincoln Tunnel and is an easy trip from NYC and all points in New Jersey.

The first match has been signed and it would be a main event on just about any other EVOLVE show. Jimmy Jacobs (3-0), the current EVOLVE Wins Leader and holder of the Longest Winning Streak, will take on the man breathing down his neck in Chuck Taylor (2-0). Taylor has already taken the undefeated records of Ricochet and Claudio Castagnoli. Now he has his sights set on the athlete who is on top of EVOLVE. We’ll have comments from both these competitors soon.

Jon Gresham vs. Jimmy Jacobs
Jon Gresham is a relative new comer to IWA, but one that everyone is already familiar with. Not being known for his patience, Jon decided to test his skills against the very top talent that IWA could offer right off the bat. Let’s be honest, it takes quite a large amount of testicular fortitude to go up against the likes of Tyler Black and Drake Younger in your freshman year. Win or lose, Jon proved to everyone that he belonged. Having already taken on Jimmy in a 3 way match on night one of the King of the Death Matches, Jon put in the request to test his skills against Jimmy Jacobs in singles competition. Jon has his work cut out for him, because in case no one had noticed, Jimmy Jacobs is no slouch. No man in IWA history is more synonymous with controversy than Jimmy Jacobs. Fans can look back at the history of IWA and point to numerous occasions that are burned in their memory, incidents that shifted momentum and rocked the very foundation of IWA, all at the hands of Jimmy Jacobs. The list of wrestlers that he has beat reads like a who’s who, and there don’t seem to be any signs of slowing down. In this battle of epic proportions, who will be victorious? The IWA of old…or the IWA of new?

June 11 AAW Results:

- Tyler Black / Jimmy Jacobs d. The Northstar Express to retain the AAW Tag Team Titles
This one went back and forth and just as the NSE was about to cheat their way to another title reign Krotch and MsChif got involved. Corbin got the green mist (for the 4th month in a row!) and then a vicious kick by Tyler Black ended the night for the Northstars.

* Young and the Airborne continued the assault until Tyler Black Jimmy Jacobs made the save. House of Truth then ran out, then Zero Gravity and it was an all out war. Jimmy Jacobs fell victim to a spike piledriver on the floor. Finally Jerry Lynn came out with a chair and cleaned house to end a crazy evening.
