Xtreme Intense Championship Wrestling returns to The Ritz Bar and Grill in Warren this Sunday as they present their 11th Anniversary Show, starting at 5:30 p.m. The main event will feature The DBA defending the XICW Heavyweight Championship against Jaimy Coxxx in a two out of three falls bout.. The co-feature pits two former TNA stars going at it as Rhino takes on Petey Williams. The Gateway Center in Collinsville, IL may hold some painful memories for Steve Corino.  The memories aren’t necessarily his; Steve wasn’t at the scene of the crime on July 23, 2010 after all, but his presence & influence was still felt at “Hate: Chapter II”.  Now, for the first time since that night, Ring of Honor returns to Collinsville, IL on November 6^th, while Corino enters the building for the very first time with Jimmy Jacobs at his side.  Their opponents for the evening: Lancelot & Harlem Bravado.

“This journey that I started at the beginning of 2011 crossed paths with the Bravados in February.” stated Corino, “I reached out to them, with Grizzly Redwood at my side, and they basically spit in our faces.  Not only that, but Lance pinned me.  For better or worse, they picked their path and I’ll admit, it has given them a measure of success this year.  But that’s just one year.  Jimmy and I, we’ve seen what happens when you stay on that path, when you live your life that way for months and years at a time.  Lance and Harlem don’t see it now, they probably couldn’t if they wanted to, but eventually something will happen to wake them up and make them realize they wasted their lives, their talent, by cutting corners and generally acting like terrible people.  Maybe facing me and Jimmy will be the wake-up call they need; maybe we can knock some sense into these kids before it’s too late.”

“I respect everything the former King of Old School did back in his day.” Said Lancelot Bravado, “In fact, it was kind of a special moment in my career to pin him earlier this year.  I think that truly gave me and my brother the confidence we needed because it was that night we realized that the Bandwagon was bigger than anything Steve Corino had ever accomplished.”

“And Jimmy Jacobs” added Harlem, “well I’m sorry to say that you’ve never been one of our heroes, but maybe we can be one of yours after we beat you.  We respect your whole rehab, 12 step process…me and Lancelot never needed one of those…but we respect anyone who realizes they’re a failure and tries to make themselves better.  I just hope we don’t cause a setback when we win in Collinsville. I’m not sure we could live with ourselves if that happened.”

Match Number One: Jimmy Jacobs with Steve Corino versus Mike Bennett with Bob Evans

Bennett pie faces Jacobs but Jacobs won’t be pulled into that situation. He does it again and Jacobs shows restraint. Jacobs with a punch but Bennett with kicks and punches. Bennett kicks Jacobs in the corner. Jacobs sends Bennett into the corner and he kicks Bennett. Bennett with an Irish whip but Jacobs tries for a boot but Bennett blocks it and puts Jacobs in the ropes and hits a back breaker. Bennett punches Jacobs and sends him into the turnbuckles.

Jacobs with a head scissors that sends Bennett to the floor. Jacobs misses a pescado when Bennett moves out of the way. Bennett thinks about a dive to the floor but he stops before doing the dive. Bennett sends Jacobs into the apron and then they return to the ring. Bennett with a back breaker followed by a slam and he gets a near fall.

Bennett with punches to Jacobs and he gets another near fall. Jacobs fights off punches by Bennett but Bennett with a kick to the chest. Jacobs with a few clotheslines followed by a neck breaker and he gets a near fall. Bennett with punches to Jacobs and he puts Jacobs on the turnbuckles.

Jacobs with a tornado move off the turnbuckles into a suplex for a near fall. Jacobs returns to the turnbuckles and he leaps over Bennett. Bennett with a spinebuster for a near fall. Bennett wit ha kick to the midsection but Jacobs with a springboard cutter for a near fall.

Jacobs goes up top for the back senton but Bennett gets his knees up and Bennett with the Box Office Smash for the three count.

Winner: Mike Bennett

After the match, Bennett wants Jacobs to shake his hand as part of the Code of Honor but he rubs Corino’s head while shaking Jacobs’ hand and Corino does not appreciate that behavior.
