Brodie Lee won a six-way elimination match over Stalker Ichikawa, Jimmy Jacobs, Silas Young, Jon Davis and AR Fox in 13:54. It opened with the Ichikawa comedy show, which was thoroughly entertaining. Davis pinned Ichikawa with lariat at 3:16. The crowd was pissed. Fox hit some spectacular aerial moves including a flip dive over the ringpost. Jacobs coaxed Ichikawa into trying a follow up dive. The wrestlers on the outside allowed him to crash and burn. Jacobs pinned Fox with the Contra Code at 8:15. Jacobs submitted Young with End Time at 10:55. Lee superkicked Davis into a crucifix pin by Jacobs at 11:29. Jacobs hit a Contra Code on the floor and another one in the ring, but couldn’t get the job done. Lee pinned Jacobs with the Truckstop.
Backstage, Jimmy Jacobs said Aries just had a hell of match with Yamato and promised he would go out with a bang in their match on Sunday. Jacobs said it was the beginning of his road to the Open the Freedom Gate Title and the end time for Aries. Good promo.

The main angle of the weekend was Austin Aries vowing to leave the promotion if he doesn’t win the title from Yamato. So he lost the title match, in a hell of a match that the fans all expected him to win. Then he lost his “final” match to Jimmy Jacobs in a very well worked match between two guys who had been rivals in the past that was worked like a farewell the day after. Aries did what appeared to be his final job on the way out. But he’s not leaving and instead turned heel and joined the Blood Warriors group.
